How to replace a plaster ceiling and coving

A customer in Digby, Lincolnshire had water damage to his ceiling from a leaking shower and asked me to resolve the damage.
The ceiling had to be demolished. Here is my partner at Handy Andy Ruskington pointing to the problem!

The ceiling was exposed back to the floor joists to check for damage.

Another shot of the exposed floor joists.

Here is a picture of where the pipe burst causing the damage.

New plasterboard up to form the new roof.

Hole made for the light and existing cabling in place.

Plaster board with jointing tape and bonding filler in place.

New ceiling in place and patched up with filler

New coving on, sanded and painted.

Finished new plasterboard ceiling! Good as new.
